FDM sounds too generic? I think it is ok. As long as the program is Great and the name isn't too bad i will use it. And FDM is a Ok name. ( Not great though )

Currently FDM doesn't allow you to choose number of Sessions in main download screen. I think this should be a must.

Out of ALL Download manager out there, not one of them has Performance / Ram Usage as pority. I think Net transport came very close to FDM. While the popular Flash Get uses twice as much Ram as FDM and NT.

Side Qs - Is FDM programmed in Delphi?

UI - I think we need rethink the Default Add Download Screen. Ever since the Flashget period things hasn't changed much. But i think what we need is a screen that is Small / Compact, yet clean with only the Usual Nesersary Options.
Idea such as and more button at the bottom, when click on it, the screen will drop another box with all the hided option as well as the advance button.
Personally i never use Comment, So i could be hided.
Save to ( cut off the word "folder" ) should be the same line as the drop down box.
Generate file name auto.. should be put into options.
User name / Password, Advanced and Query Size button should be put into the "more" box.
The Portity of Download could be listed as Drop down menu as well.
