how can change the speed to optimum speed when download.... i m using 512dsl cable windows xp but only download at 8-15kb/s. wat does the download speed change with the traffic mode selected??? ( heavy, medium, light)

Yes, it change with traffic mode and you can set speed limit for every mode
(or make every mode unlimited) in "Download Options".

lets say you have the heavy mode set, thenall setting in download option for heavy mode is what is affecting the download(s), set it to medium mode and those settings are what is used and so on.

personaly i have it set to permanent light mode but would like the ability to override its setting on a case tby case basis without haveing to change them. like say by forceing the start of a new download or force open a new connection to the server, or maybe even tell the program that hey i want this download to have a higher max download speed then normal without haveing to hit the options window. the automatics should still follow the rules layed out by the mode tho...

if that cant be done then maybe make it so that the mode that is currently active is the one that is choosen when the download options dialog is open. currently the heavy mode is allways selected and like i said i use light to set my options so this force me to select light in the dialog before i can change anything. its minor but when you do it all the time its annoying.

this is why i would like to be able to override or change the current mode without the need to hit the download options dialog.

sometime i to change the traffic mode(among light,medium,heavy) with the switch button while downloading and the speed of download suddenly increase (last bout 2-4 second) from 12kbs to 60kbs
can i made the speed permanent.....??
