Hi, I try search in order to find an answer but unfortunately it was impossible to get an answer, so please if someone know how to do, answer bellow.

I have a direct download link for Google Drives.
I extract it using some free application
The file is more than 1GB so I know that if i try to access the file via the direct download link I will get an "can't scan for virus" page.
I realize that the "confirm" button generate a link like this
https://drive.google.com/uc?export=down ... xxxxxxxxxx

I try to add it on FDM but nothing....
is there a way to use FDM in order to download files from Google Drives.
I use FDM 3.7.9

try with FDM 5 o 6, anyway Google Drive downloads are not direct downloads.

Hi. Unfortunately, Google Drive does not create direct download links, so there's no guarantee that they would work with FDM.

FDM can catch it if you use download all/zipping feature in drive(example: you choose multiple file to download & then drive will zipping em for you to download), as far as i know only this will work.

that's a possibility, and not a sure one, unfortunately.

Any hope for FDM to be able to fetch google drive links? I know it can't now, but maybe someday?

What makes you think it can't?

Because it downloads "view.html" instead of the file? If it does work, Is there something I can do differently?

Okay, it is a link to an .mp4 file. If, on the mp4, I click the download button and open Google's "download anyway" page, then it downloads a file called "uc.html" instead of the file.

FDM is not compatible with Google Drive, FDM downloads a view.html or a uc.html instead the original file.

Hope support team could fix it.

Can you please provide the exact steps of what you do, so we can reproduce the problem and fix it?

FDM cant download anything that requires cookies. Many websites use cookies to authenticate downloads, even tho FDM is been in development for soo long it still cant download from those website
