I am Guillermo Alberto Cervantes Vindiola, I'm 23 years old and I study the career for English Translation in Mexicali, Baja California. I have some good learning about software terms and words and I would like to try out for the translation job here in this forum. Pretty soon in the next semester I will graduate and I would need a job before or by then to start having some money.

Since I'm from a neighnboring region, how should I get the payment if I use a PayPal account? I'd imagine it works well for those living in the U.S., but I wonder how those living in Mexico will get the money. I live close to Calexico, BTW.

Hi, Guillermo

My name is Graciela Caldara, I am a 38 years old native spanish speaker borned in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am really interested in working on your project. I have the First Certificate in English, from Cambridge University and I have experience as an independant contractor as a translator. I have already worked on software translation, including games and programs, software instruction manuals and I have knowdledge about technical vocabulary. This is the kind of job i was looking for and I hope to receive an answer from you. Thanks.

I am still available for the job if you need more people. Translating many file descriptions and instructions from English to Spanish must be a lot of work, so it's always good to have many people that can help with this. I, for one would like to take this opportunity to polish my translating skills.

I shall wait for your reply and if you need my CV again, let me know.

Never recived a receipt

Postby pazucca » Thu Jan 17, 2008 2:38 am

Hi, I have filled out the registration form with my CV information but no response was sent to my e-mail.
I was expecting it within the next 48 hours since the registration.
How can I know if my request is under consideration or if it has been refused?
Anyone else has had this "problem"?
Thank you...

Yo estoy listo, ¿y vosotros?

No he puesto mas de 60 y me parecen demasiados.

Eso lo sabrías, por ejemplo, si has hecho unos cursos, si has estudiado y se te has preparado para traducir (ahí se te van 600+ caracteres)... o, si te das cuenta que el post-site está en inglés (and I do not want to write you back in Wnglish, because I just do not want to waste more time with you), o que el 'Voceo' que 'usais' no es aceptable.

Oh, Dear! poor our souls!

The master from Spain hath raised his voice against us, in behalf of his almighty Hitler. We, native Americans, we ought beon frightened, as the Spaniard master hast spoken.

Milord, prithee art no mad at us, as we wert only speaking verily nonsense, knaving thee. We know thy heart ought beon constraint with our mere existence, and his belike our proper error, hence master, dost not mad at us, thy humble servants.

Alas, Americans enow!. Remove thy very presence anon and wend, so master might rest in tranquillity. Prithee us sire, we shall bother thee no more, its our Sblood.

Grammarcy, and fare-thee-well.
