Could you read newest topics before posting, please? FDM has already been updated in December 2014, so just update it, please.

Now if I did, you wouldn't be able to get angry and post that

You have to remove FDM plugin from Firefox add-ons page, then restart FF and activate new FDM plugin.

Firefox update 35.0 reports incompatibility with FDM plugin 1.6.0.8.

I'm hoping this will be fixed so I can update Firefox.

Because there seems to be nothing going on here, I'm considering leaving FDM...
Anything to say or announce ? Will you release an update anytime soon ? And by soon, I mean within this week or the next one ?

I cannot see any problem reported in your message, so what answer do you expect to see?

I think this quote and the message above sum the issue perfectly...

I think you are too lazy to read carefully all the messages on this page. Read them once again starting from the very top: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=16047&start=120#p39728 that claims as follows:
FDM has already been updated in December 2014, so just update it, please.

Still any problem with reading and following the advice? Read the reporting rules.
Still any problem with Firefox? Read the FDM FAQ about Firefox troubleshooting.

Stiil want to complain? Read this message once again.

Current FDM builds ARE compatible with current Firefox stable and beta releases.
Ask Jeffrey Cobb if he DID update his FDM. Ask other users if it's OK to complain again and again about issues that have been solved a month ago.

First, I've been polite until your last very condescending message, so now I'm dropping the glove.

Second, when I said I was up to date, it's because, when I used foolishly the automated update manager (you know, Help > Check for update now), the only answer I got is : "You are already using the newest version". I guess it only check for minor version and ignore the build version ! Ooooh that could be a bug, don't you think ?

Why didn't I read every last post on this thread ? It's because it started 2.5 years ago ! So I jumped to the last page, silly me, instead of reading answers about the 5 last outdated versions. May be, you could create a troubleshooting thread when a new version is out, and pin, let's say, the last two versions thread ?

Now, FDM is finally up to date on the correct build version and it is running smoothly.
You could have been polite and patient, but instead you decided to be a patronizing jerk.
I've been moderator on a large board with thousands of users each day and I never lost it like you did, even when dealing with bitter user, like I was.

So have a nice day/evening/night and don't even bother to answer, I won't be around anymore.

Last but not least : I grant you the right to delete this post, I know it will come to your mind, so don't beat yourself, I couldn't care less.

Bisous.

Hello,

After update to FF 35 my old FDM plugin stopped working so I've updated FDM to latest build (1482). Removed old plugin from Firefox and now FDM refuses to install new plugin. Every time I try to enable Firefox monitoring it tells "Can't install Firefox monitoring". Tried FDM 5 alpha with same result. What should I check and eventually change for this plugin to work?
