FDM for commercial use

Can Free Download Manager be used for business/commercial purposes for free? I'm asking because many freeware programs are for personal use only, and I have a website that I list freeware on, but I want to list stuff that can be used anywhere, so I'm going to be listing a lot of Open Source freeware. FDM should go Open Source anyway. I saw that in another post, Zero3K said that he didn't think this program needed to be Open Source! LOL! This person really doesn't know what Open Source is about!

Still, instead of just making fun, I will educate - if FDM is Open Source, it can be worked on by MANY more people, so it will improve a LOT faster, and have many more features, like all the features people are talking about and requesting. More bugs can be found faster, so more bug fixes can be made sooner! Also, Open Source software lets everyone see the source code, so there are no bad surprises like spyware, viruses, or anything else, because everyone would know about it, and anyone is free to make a better version without that stuff!

If FDM goes Open Source, the author can also make money by selling the source code and getting donations, (and more ways) and still keep it totally free for everyone! Also, if it is Open Source, FDM could be used for personal AND business use, or anything you want - that means real freedom, which is even better than just no cost - and it still IS no cost, too!

Learn more about why Open Source is the best way, and if you dig around, you can learn about the Halloween Documents, and why Microsoft has a lot to worry about from Open Source, and more, by going here: http://www.opensource.org/ Be sure to go to the F.A.Q. section to learn one way you can make money with Open Source software, and other answers.
