First of all I can't understand what is "phoning home". But you could try these following steps to see if the problem still consists.
1> Update Free Download Manager to latest version always. At the moment which is v5.1.23 build 5672
2> From the image you posted there is a mention of a IP address. A quick search gets into this - http://whois.domaintools.com/185.21.217.5
Maybe you are trying to download something from a website which is associated with this IP address or something similar
OR
I am not sure but auto-update can come from this IP address
3> If everything fails do a clear uninstall of Free download manager & do a full scan of your machine; maybe there is some malware which is trying to infect the machine downloading it via Free Download Manager. Then install the latest version of Free Download Manager.
BTW always download installers from the official site only and never from so called software download sites as I have encountered many serious issues downloading from them.
Hope this helps & let me know the results you have encountered.
Regards

Read FDM FAQ, then check who is the home owner (it's not FDM).hesynergy wrote:MalwareBytes is blocking your Free Download Manager v5.1.1.5.4296 from phoning home....why are you phoning home?
