History?
History?
First of all, 1.5 is a major improvement. FDM is already the fastest downloader on dialup and it's getting to be the most convenient.
A few small things to fix.
On the downloads tab there's a folder called History. By right clicking I can clear it, or keep records from being created.
In the General Options there's a tab called History. I keep it turned off, but I have no idea what it would do if I activated it. If there's another History somewhere, it should be described in Help, at least.
I do use Filter, which allows me to delete the items on a page I don't want to download. But, as mentioned in a prior post, I think that if something is being downloaded to a particular folder, the program should automatically clear the parts of the page that don't go in that folder.
Why doesn't Other get a folder created, the way Video, etc. do?
Why does the program fail to recognize mpeg as a format, though it does recognize mpg?
And this is more a personal preference, I suppose, but could the program turn off the Shut down on completion check-mark when the program closes? I keep forgetting it's on and having the pc turn itself off when I do a download in a subsequent session.
As you can see, these aren't major problems, just annoyances which could be resolved. Thanks again for the program.
