When I click a download on a site and FDM launches to ask me where to save the file as soon as I click download it minimizes to the tray... I hate it. Ive tried every setting in the app. It didnt used to do this.

I want to be able to see the progress immediately incase it added a sub folder, or it chose files I didn't want on accident so I can cancel them fast. I have to go to the bottom and bring it back up...

Maybe I should go back a few versions because it used to work good.

Please sorry for the inconvenience. We'll add the option to switch this behavior off (it will be located in Advanced section). Please wait for the next update (hopefully it will be released soon). For now, just keep FDM's main window open. In this case FDM6 will not hide automatically.

I download alot of small files and I like to pause them after they start to make sure they are what I want before I let them finish. As of right now, FDM closes so fast I cant re op[en it to pause them or check them fast enough.

I downloaded an older version of FDM and it works how I want but the firefox addon doesn't work with it anymore. So it doesn't work for me.

Can you put a quick fix update out? FDM hasnt been updated in months and I dont want to wait more months

As a workaround you can switch FDM to snail mode before starting download.
